MMerivum

Terms of Service

Effective 31 July 2026.

These terms govern your purchase and use of the Merivum Full Report at merivum.com. By paying for a report, you agree to them. Merivum is currently operated by its founder as a sole trader while the underlying Swedish limited company is being incorporated -- see our Privacy Policy for full detail on that and on how we handle your data.

The service

Merivum sells access to a single digital product: the Full Report generated from your completed cognitive assessment, including your score, percentile, and category breakdown. The assessment itself is free to take; the report is a one-time paid unlock, not a subscription.

This assessment is designed for entertainment and self-insight purposes only. It is not a clinically validated psychological instrument and does not provide a diagnostic IQ score.

Accounts

You don't need an account to take the test or buy a report -- a report is tied to the payment session that unlocked it, and the results page it links to remains accessible from that session. Creating a free account lets you save your history and revisit past results, but doesn't change anything about a report you've already purchased.

Pricing and payment

The price shown at checkout is the full price you pay -- it already includes any applicable tax (VAT/sales tax), not added on top afterward. Payment is processed entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Prices may differ by the language/region you took the test in and may change over time, but the price shown to you at checkout is the one you're charged.

Instant delivery, and your right of withdrawal

Under EU consumer law, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason. That right works well for physical goods you can return, but it doesn't fit a digital report you can read the moment you get it -- once you've seen your score, "returning" it is meaningless, yet the law still lets you request a refund within that window unless you've expressly agreed otherwise for that specific purchase.

That's why, before you pay, you're asked to expressly confirm two things: that you want your report delivered to you immediately rather than waiting out the 14-day period, and that you understand doing so means you lose your right of withdrawal for that purchase once delivery happens (which, in practice, is instantly). If you don't confirm this, we don't process instant delivery.

This doesn't affect any rights you have if something is actually wrong with what we delivered -- see "Refunds" below.

Refunds

Because your report is delivered instantly once you confirm the above, and because the entire value of the product is in seeing content you can't simply "un-see," we don't offer refunds for a change of mind once your report has been delivered.

We do make it right if something went wrong on our end: you paid but never received your report, a technical error corrupted your results, or you were charged more than once for the same report. Contact us within 14 days of the charge (see "Contact" below) and we'll fix it or refund you, whichever is appropriate -- we handle this manually today rather than through a self-service tool.

Acceptable use

The report is for your own personal use -- to understand your own result, or to share it yourself (e.g. with a recruiter) as evidence of your own performance. You agree not to take the test on someone else's behalf and present it as your own, resell or redistribute report content, or attempt to automate, scrape, or systematically extract questions from the assessment.

Intellectual property

The assessment questions, scoring methodology, report design, and Merivum name and branding are our property. Your own answers and the resulting report are yours to use for the personal purposes described above, but that doesn't transfer ownership of the underlying test content or methodology to you.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The report is provided for entertainment and self-insight, as stated above -- not as professional, psychological, or diagnostic advice, and not as a guarantee of any outcome (such as a job offer) you might use it toward. To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim relating to your purchase is limited to the amount you actually paid for that report. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. If you're a consumer living in the EU/EEA, this doesn't take away protections that the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your own country of residence give you -- those still apply regardless of this clause.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Merivum evolves -- for example, once the Swedish company is incorporated. We'll update the effective date above when we do. Changes apply to purchases made after the update, not retroactively to ones you've already completed.
